Birds + Flies Series
Featuring seasonal warblers you’re likely to encounter in the woods + waters of Maine, this series celebrates classic streamer patterns in playful relationship with birds of similar palette.
Yellow Warbler
Setophaga petechia: The most yellow of many warblers sporting yellow plumage, these birds are frequently seen high up in trees, hopping around and foraging, always moving. Their song is stunning, piercing, and a sign of summer in Maine.
Hearing the yellow warblers call is like hearing sunshine, as oaks and maples bloom and summer rushes in
- Bri Dostie
Rooster’s Regret Streamer
Designed by Carrie Stevens — and one of her more simple streamers. This pattern utilizes a mix of tinsel, buck tail, yellow hackle, and jungle cock for the eye.
